Due to their iridized nature, the color of Giorbello Atlantis glass tile changes under different types of light and depends upon the viewing angle. Under florescent lighting, Marlin looks purple with light blue. In direct sunlight, the color changes to a grayish purple, similar to Marlin. When illuminated by incandescent light, the color surprises with a wonderful fusion of purple and turquoise. These tiles are made by treating the glass with metal oxides to give them their iridized effect. These glass tiles are fade and frost resistant.
