Due to their iridized nature, the color of Giorbello Atlantis glass tile changes under different types of light and depends upon the viewing angle. Light Turquoise viewed under a florescent light appears as a green turquoise with some lavender tones on individual pieces. Under an incandescent light the color is a green turquoise. In direct sunlight, the color appears to be turquoise green with some lavender mixed in. These tiles are made by treating the glass with metal oxides to give them their iridized effect. These glass tiles are fade and frost resistant.
